All our tables, bench seats, firepits and dance floors are handmade locally by The Railway Sleeper Co out of recycled railway sleepers. As well as being very sturdy, they have great rustic charm.
Most of our furnishings are also available to hire on their own. We can still deliver and set up or there are many that are available for fry hire (you pick up and drop off at our depot). Please contact us regarding this.

Tables and Bench Seats
Our tables and bench seats are handmade locally by The Railway Sleeper Co out of recycled railway sleepers so are very sturdy and have great rustic charm. They match in perfectly with the off-white tipi canvas, native flowers and bush surrounds that often accommodate a tipi event.
The tables are 2m long and 80cm wide and can sit 6 (comfortably) to 8 (smaller people or children). The bench seats are so versatile as they can be used for seating at a wedding ceremony and then be used again later for seating at the wedding reception. The bench seats are 1.8m long and can comfortably seat 3 people (for dining) or 4 people (for the ceremony).
Bridal Party Chairs
Want something to set the bridal table apart from the others? Then our unique bridal chairs are the perfect option. We have 2 that have arms especially for the lucky couple and 8 without arms for the bridal party. So if your bridal party has 10 or less people ask us about hiring these great timber padded chairs.
Dance Floors
Our one of a kind dance floors really add the wow factor to your first dance. They have been hand crafted by The Railway Sleeper Co from recycled railway sleepers and with all holes filled they create the perfect dance floor for all guests to enjoy. We have up to 4 dance floors available and they all seamlessly lock together to create enough space for all your dancing guests. They say approximately 60% of guests will dance at a wedding. Each dance floor is 3.6m x 2.4m and is suitable for up to approximately 25 dancers.
Open Fireplace with Firewood
One of the benefits of The Tipi Hire Co is that we offer the hire of a firepit and firewood that can go inside the tipi. This creates a cosy feel on cooler nights and another great feature piece to wow your guests. We supply special eco wood that smokes less and show you how to open and close the smoke cap at the top point of the tipi. The firepit is set high off the ground to keep it away from small children and is handmade out of recycled timber so it matches in perfectly with our other furnishings and of course with the tipis.

Our one of a kind genuine wagon wheel that we decorate with beautiful hanging greenery and white flowers and a unique assorted lighting feature is a truly amazing centrepiece to hang from the centre of the tipi.
Faux Native Flowers
Even professional photographers shooting these up close did not realise they were faux flowers, that is how amazing they look! Save money, time and effort with real flowers and just let us handle this for you. We have 4 large native flowers in glass vases, 20 small wild flowers in glass milk bottles, extra greenery for your own decorations
(eg. Arbor) and a green trellis wall (2mx4m) available for hire.

Our mustard velour vintage lounge set suits the tipis perfectly and is a great option to create a chilled out area for guests to relax in. You get a 3 seater lounge, 2 single armchairs and 1 single chair. These look amazing with our vintage rugs and vintage coffee table.
Chesterfields
Another great option for a relaxed chill out area is our Chesterfields. All are deep red leather that look amazing inside the tipis. We have a 3 seater, 2 seater and 2 wing back armchairs. These look great styled with our vintage rugs and ottomans.

Ottomans
We have a range of assorted leather and cow hide ottomans to choose to add to our relaxed tipi environment. These looks great styled with our Chesterfields and vintage rugs. They are really comfy as well.
Blankets in Suitcases
These blankets in vintage suitcases are a perfect add on for those chilly nights to keep guests warm and cosy. 5 blankets come in a suitcase and they even look stylish when no one is using them. The are a great accompaniment to our firepit and lounges.

We have assorted vintage rugs that range in pattern and size to create that relaxed boho style. They are hired in packs of 5. These look great styled with our lounges, firepit and ottomans.

Wine Barrels
Wine Barrels are such a versatile item to hire as they can be used for so many things. We have seen them be used for a cake table, wishing well table, for people to sit around on bar stools, for people to rest drinks on, to put flowers on, decorations….the options are endless!
Wine Barrel Bar and Bar Stools
When we turn wire barrels into a bar or table they are still just as versatile as they can be used as a bar, gift table, dessert table, feasting tables or a bar table when hired with our timber bar stools. Bar stools are hired separately.
